Instructors of Complex Training Centre, using the methodology of Dmytro Hnap (“NGO All-Ukrainian Federation for Support and Development of UAS”), conducted courses for service members of the 68th Battalion of the 101st Territorial Defence Brigade: “Radio-electronic reconnaissance: detecting enemy UAS with a radio scanner” and “Practical course for training UAS operators”.
The course “Radio-electronic reconnaissance: detecting UAS with a radio scanner” is designed to master the basics of radio reconnaissance and radio concealment, safe work by the drone team, target detection, and determining the movement trajectory of enemy UAS.
“Practical course for training UAS operators” provides practical skills in using UAS in military conditions: drone setup, aerial reconnaissance, artillery adjustment, and thermal-imaging observation with a drone. We focus on maximum flight time and bringing drone operators’ actions to automaticity so that they can better concentrate on combat tasks.
Graduates will now be able to be instructors for fighters of their unit and share the mastered knowledge.
