A combined group of service members from the 43rd Separate Artillery Brigade, the 68th Battalion of the 101st Territorial Defence Brigade, and representatives of the State Emergency Service completed courses at Complex Training Centre: “Radio-electronic reconnaissance: detecting enemy UAS with a radio scanner”, “Practical course for training UAS operators”, and “Practical course for training pilots of strike stabilized FPV drones”.
Training was conducted according to a combined methodology of leading Ukrainian UAS pilot schools: Boryviter, Victory Drones, NGO All-Ukrainian Federation for Support and Development of UAS.
The course “Radio-electronic reconnaissance: detecting UAS with a radio scanner” is designed to master the basics of radio reconnaissance and radio concealment, safe work by the drone team, target detection, and determining the movement trajectory of enemy UAS.
“Practical course for training UAS operators” provides practical skills in using UAS in military conditions: drone setup, aerial reconnaissance, artillery adjustment, and thermal-imaging observation with a drone.
The FPV drone control course developed by instructors of Complex Training Centre provides rapid acquisition of practical skills, as well as practicing drops. The distinctive feature of our FPV drones is software that makes it possible to stabilize the drone during flight, significantly ease control, and not affect speed and maneuverability indicators. Thanks to this, pilots learn in 4 days to control an FPV drone and make aimed drops to strike targets. We focus on maximum flight time and bringing drone operators’ actions to automaticity so that they can better concentrate on combat tasks.
